Rope Rescue Technician I/II

Rope Rescue Technician III

This course is for the advanced rope rescue professional. It challenges you with scenarios that test rigging skills and expand your problem capabilities. Updates on the latest equipment, systems testing, belay techniques and other research are all reviewed in detail. In addition to review work, the skills taught include:

• Equipment and systems demonstration
• Manufactured and improvised artificial high anchor points
• High lines
• Guiding lines
• Advanced litter handling techniques

This hands-on intensive course will challenge your decision making abilities and improve your capability to conduct sophisticated team rescues.

Trench Rescue and Shoring

This course covers many skills including:

• Rescuer safety
• Understanding OSHA regulations covering trenches and excavations
• Preplanning
• Assessing soil composition
• Cave-in evaluation
• Stabilization and shoring using wood
• Hydraulic and air shores

Confined Space Entry and Rescue

This hands-on intensive course prepares the fire/rescue or industrial responder to safely manage a confined space rescue incident.
