Respiratory Protection (29 CFR 1910.134)

This exceptional 4-6 hour, hands-on course meets the OSHA requirements of 29 CFR 1910.134. This training will cover the applicable type of respiratory protection being used (i.e. air purifying, powered air purifying, airline, self contained breathing apparatus) by your company. Each participant will walk away with an eye-opening realization that you can't just throw a respirator on and go to work. Requirements must be met to be compliant and prevent injury or illness.

We will design this course to meet your site-specific Respiratory Protection Program. Our clients are encouraged to provide the NIOSH/MSHA approved respirators that will be used. Please realize that OSHA required a completed medical evaluation for each respirator wearer prior to wearing a respirator. Safety Tek Industries has the capability to perform any and all types of fit testing of respirators to wearers.
